The Mornington Peninsula Contemporary Art Prize will now be presented as a biennial prize, returning in 2027.

The decision allows us to give the prize the time and attention it deserves, developing a considered programme that celebrates contemporary artistic practice and the many ways artists respond to place, landscape and the world around us.

We look forward to welcoming artists from across Australia for the 2027 edition. Further details, including the theme and opening of entries, will be announced in due course.
