‘Home is where the Heart is’ tells the story of love in homes from all over the world and embraces the warmness found within the confines of every type of these homes. Comfort in each dwelling is surpassed by the warmth within, wether it be a single occupant or families where love and life abound.
The nest relates to my children as the eggs and myself as the bird, a Robin. The heart base contains 3 fish in a lake but the viewer will need to look closely to find them. All the homes are glaze fired and the Heart base is Raku fired to give it the colour and texture that can be seen.
