This ‘Pareidolic Experiment’ uses automatic drawing processes to create a visual reflection of the subconscious mind. Its cloud-like, fluctuating forms resist static interpretation, instead mirroring the restless flow of conscious and subconscious thought. Like light on water, the work offers only glimpses of depth. It invites viewers to project their own interpretations and subjectivities onto the free formed marks. It is an exploration of how we see—of how we look for patterns to understand the noise in front of us to find meaning.
