I am lucky to live in a small coastal township on the Great Ocean Road in Victoria. The hills of the Otways and the sweep of Southern Ocean are ever present, in all seasons, and in many views, no matter what the vantage point. The brightness of a full moon night offers an opportunity to be fully immersed in the rhythmic sound of the ocean, when the beach is usually empty of people, and there are fewer distractions of daytime hours, a reminder that the landscape is eternal, and we are just passing through.
