Ben is a master craftsman, predominately working with timber, but also adept with concrete and metal. His practice has covered cabinetry, bespoke furniture, small objects and monumental scale sculptures (winning the Montalto Sculpture Prize in 2017 with his ‘Bush of Ghosts’ work)

Ben salvages materials from old boats, piers and houses, giving them a second life in his creations, the history of these used materials adds to the warmth imbued in his hand made pieces.
