As a florist working on a wildflower farm on the Mornington Peninsula,  Kate loved using interesting vessels for creating floral designs.  A regular ceramics class soon led to a fascination and love for ceramics.  When not at work, Kate spends time in her home studio,  designing and creating one off ceramic pieces.  She focuses on hand building techniques, incorporating different designs and shapes within her work.  Her ranges include functional and sculptural pieces.  Her work is always evolving as she discovers new techniques and ideas!

Kates education and career in interiors, textiles and floristry have all contributed to her ceramic journey.  Her love of textile designs and Australian natives are a continuing influence with her work.
