As a contemporary landscape oil painter living on the Mornington Peninsula, I find solace while sketching and oil painting in Australia’s natural environments. Taking my memories of immersion and sense of place back to my studio, I work on larger canvasses searching within the paintings for a sense of presence and connection with the Australian bush.
