Robyn Saunders is a local potter with her own studio based in Baxter. She makes both functional and non-functional works that are fired in her gas and solar powered electric kilns. In this exhibition she has used her own fernery to take inspiration and used new growth from a tree fern to create an impression on a slab of clay. The fern impression on the clay is from a recently opened frond and contains blue, green and black glaze.
