“Since being diagnosed with ADHD, the sea and ocean have become a sanctuary—allowing me to enter a meditative state that helps quiet the noise of my mind. In these moments, I’m reminded of a gentler, more peaceful world that exists outside of myself. This connection to nature brings a sense of calm and grounding in a world that often feels chaotic. The sea urchin has become a symbol of my inner world—representing the walls I’ve built to protect my vulnerable, softer self. Just as the urchin’s exterior shields its delicate core, I too seek balance between resilience and vulnerability, strength and sensitivity. Through my art, I explore this duality, inviting others to witness the intricate harmony between protection and openness that shapes my personal journey.”
